Types of Independent Medical Examinations

Single

For cases that require a single specialist opinion.

Integrated multidisciplinary examination

An integrated assessment involves two or more medical experts conducting individual examinations. Following their assessments the specialists will liaise with one another and discuss their findings prior to completion of their individual reports, considering the other specialists opinion when completing their report.

Panel multidisciplinary examination

A panel assessment involves two or more medical experts assessing your client and collaborating to deliver a holistic opinion. A chairperson is appointed to help facilitate this process. The chairperson will then prepare an overarching report that is provided along with the individual panel member reports.
